As the horizon expands,
The blemishes disappear
The madness takes over the fear
And you know that the truth Is somewhere near!
A smile and a pocket full of peppermints
Are they your only assets, she asked?
What else do I need, he said
To wipe tears and make friends?
After all, we have come here to spread the taste of sweetness
Onto the bitter tongues and into the wounded hearts!
Words - use them wisely
For you know not how they can pierce a heart
They can burn bridges and wage wars
If only you can string them with care and love
They can light up the lives and wipe away all the scars

Washing away all the sins, the ashes, and the dirt
That people discarded in her
She gushes violently
Surpassing all the man-made boundaries
Demanding respect with her fury
As her gigantic friends watch and bear her wrath
Ganga pours and deluges the humanity!
Some assumptions made by our auto drivers:
-- Even though we ride a three wheeler, we always assume that we ride a one wheeler. We will ensure that the front wheel lands safely while we are not responsible if the two rear wheels land in some pothole! It is the responsibilty of the passengers to insure their backs!
--We believe that our 3 wheelers have flexible bodies. Hence we can squeeze in anywhere, even between 2 gigantic buses. We are not responsible for the horrified expressions of the passengers.
--We don't care if we need to go left or right because we know that we are always right
Heavy words
Empty talk
Wandering minds
Stubborn "I"s
Knotty bonds
Unquenchable thirst
Limited breaths

Anjali and Rahul: Hey, didn’t we address that before? BTW what was the answer, director ji?
Audience: Iss movie ko dekhna
Aur dekh ke samajhna
Ai dil hai mushkil
Dosti ya Pyar? The nation wants to know!
The real defeat comes in when our minds give up even before the game begins. It is important to play the game until the end with an everblooming hope. And once we do that, we know the game; it really doesn't matter if we win or lose.
My rugged path of devotion
Your winding highway of logic and conclusion
You go
I go
You grow
I grow
Meet you at the end, my friend!
People say “Don’t change” all the time
But unless
The emotions whirl
The thoughts are in turmoil
The flimsy canoe of life is caught in sudden squall
The layers of ego peel
How will I know which one is my call?
And how will I find myself in all?
A weed yesterday might have a beautiful flower today
A prisoner yesterday may set others free today
An unattractive stone yesterday might be a shining diamond today
So before you pass your judgement on someone's yesterday
Remember that inner growth can bring in a huge metamorphosis on the way
And who knows, maybe that someone is your guiding light today!
The land of
A grand and overwhelming history
The remains of wars of egos and strength
The once majestic marketplaces
The crumbling walls
Those empty temples
Some unheard whispers
The soft chirps of the colorful birds
The magnificence of sunsets and sunrises
The mundane day-to-day battles for survival
The paradise of the wandering souls
The serene river
The undefeated rocks
How can someone not fall in love with you, Hampi?
So you go to this store. The sales person there shows you things very patiently. In fact, he waits for you to try them out and doesn't mind if you don't like any of them. He offers some suggestions. You can see that he is concerned more about the customer than making a sale. And finally, you buy the right thing and leave the shop with a smile.
Wait! Rewind! Before you leave, you decide to do something else. No, not a tip; instead, you appreciate that sales person in front of his manager. You thank him profusely for his help. And then that person's face breaks into a huge grin. He comes forward, shakes your hand vigorously, and whispers a tearful thank you. And then you leave the shop with smiling faces around.
That vegetable vendor, that policeman, that cab driver, and so many others with whom you interact every day - just a pat on their backs and a smile may light up their day and lives. So think about it every time you go out to shop. Also, remember there is no rewind button out there. :)
Let us make a difference even if it is a small one. Happy 2017 to all you lovely people.
It is time to empty thyself
The sky whispered to the cloud
The earth smiled
"This is it!" she said as she looked at the wound on her face.
Then she heard the whimper from the cradle.
She ran towards it and whispered "Just one more chance, just one more".
Quotar: When people fight wars by hurling quotes at one another on social media! No names mentioned; only the person to whom it is meant for knows!
Quoddled: When the common friends wonder if they should like the quote or not; even if they do, they are muddled about whose quote should they like!
Quotappa/Quotamma: The originator of the quote who thankfully does not get to see these posts
